June is the start of “wedding season” and the most popular month to get married, so if you’re lucky enough to take your honeymoon directly following your wedding, then June it is. If you’re not honeymooning directly following your nuptials, and you can be flexible, then keep the “hurricane season” in mind. Below is a list by location.
Best time to travel for the Caribbean:
Bahamas – January through May and November and December
Cayman Islands – January through July and November and December
Dominican Republic – January through September
Jamaica – January through August and November and December
Puerto Rico – January through August and October through December
Barbados – January through August and November and December
Virgin Islands – January through August and November and December
Antigua and Barbuda – January through September and November and December
St. Lucia – January through August and November and December
Trinidad and Tobago – January through December
Bermuda – January through December
ABC islands (Aruba, Bonaire and Curacao) – January through December with a drier climate no storms no cruise ships and few visitors
Best times to travel to Hawaii:
Oahu – upper 80’s June through September
Kauai – mid 80’s July through November
Maui – upper 80’s June through October
Big Island – upper 80’s June through November
Best time to travel to Mexico:
Cabo San Lucas – March to December
Cancun – April through December
Puerto Vallarta – April through August and November and December
